Gary, definitely not the lens causing the cast, it's your lighting/white balance and as John King suggested your picture mode may have a hand in it. great shots!

Good to hear resetting the camera fixed it ! What really caught my eye was how detailed and sharp the pics look ! I wish my 14-54 was that sharp.. well done mate !

To be sure, these were all on tripod, Harj. I've given the lens the acid test tonight under wedding/party conditions. No flash in a relatively low light environment (think no flash allowed in church). It did superbly! I'll be posting a few sample shots from the party tomorrow.

Gary, don't underestimate how many people are annoyed by flash during a ceremony. They put up with it because they think objecting to a flash would be regarded as anti-social. But very few people are OK with that brain wave spike they get from a flash.
