Default Flame on!

I'm sick of brown and yellow and blah! I picked up these beauties from the florist. E-620 w/50mm ED

They are beautiful, and I know what you mean about being sick of brown and yellow. I finally had a chance a few weeks ago to do a bunch of flowers that looked just like that, but they were all around a casket, which made shooting them the way I would have liked a little problematic!

Sounds like what you need in that situation, is an MP3 player doing dirges from an organ in your earbuds.

Just kidding.

Good for you Gary, I am also anxious for all this STUFF to go away. Today was very nice with sunshine all day, I worked outside the entire day doing landscape cleanup work and beginnig tonight we will see rain, cold, maybe freezing rain.....

Oh yes, these photos are surely nice, I particularly like the composition & lighting..... You do those things really well with your flower posing.

Thanks for the cheering,
____

That first one is a kicker bud. I knew you wouldn't make it till spring before you went nuts without a flower to shoot : )
Excellent job as usual on them.

Thank so much, everyone. I'm really happy with the 50mm! It's on the slow side but the IQ sure makes up for it.

Of COURSE I bought 'em for my wife. Would there have been any other reason?
