Default Water Park

I was out walking with my dog at the local water park yesterday. I took this picture, now normally I take ones with nothing in the foreground just a clean landscape I just tried this one with the foliage in the foreground and I quite like it.

Shot with the E420 and 17.5-40mm lens.

Its probably a bit to 'messy' but I am still learning

Thanks for sharing. Actually it's not too messy; as you are the one who's creating the image, it's whatever you like that counts the most.

What immediately strikes me about it is the feeling of wintertime, with the gray clouds and the brown foreground. This would make a nice seasonal study of changes. Consider going back and taking the same shot in the spring, summer, and fall. The contrast should make for an interesting series.

Oh thanks for the tip! I will do that. I appreciate the feedback!

Great capture.

I'd like to add, try focusing on the water or the foliage. That would give you two different views of the same image.
