Hi guys: thanks for the nice comments. All shots were straight out of the camera, no PP. Actually had a lot of shots but didn't have that many keepers, it wasn't the lens fault, it was the fact that the white feathers were mainly in part sunlight, while the rest of the body was in shade.

The E-520 had a hard time handling the high difference in dark to light transition. Many of the shots had too little detail in the head, because it was too washed out, even while the body was perfectly exposed. Played around with the settings and wound up with some good shots. But I'll never admit how many shots I wasted getting the ones that were acceptable.

(yes, I know that I should have used raw, but you guys know I'm too lazy or busy to do a lot of time doing PP.)

Wowwwwww ... that's about all I can say ... Sounds like he was just sitting there waiting for you to take his picture, yes? I agree w/Zig ... the last one is my fave, too.
