Default A birthday card for a friend

I don't generally post something this far off topic. But, I've got a friend who is going to be celebrating his 72nd birthday this week. So, I sent him this birthday card. It's a photo of him on his flats skiff poling me around in the Florida Keys
last March. Not bad being able to pole a flats boat around at that age, eh.

Gives me something to shoot for.

Neat card. I hope I'm that agile at 72.

Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I wasn't really going to post this at first, but then noticed how little was going on in this forum the last couple of days and thought it was time to get something going.

And, to me, it was kind of funny, so I thought I'd share.

all you needed was a gator in the background trailing him...

Hadn't thought of layering a whale or some other sea creature into the frame.
I'll have to save that for next year.

I am a bit surprised that no one made any comment regarding what Phil is wearing. It's not often that you see someone wearing a sweatshirt and long pants in the Keys. Just goes to show how cold it was in Florida last winter.
