Default What happened to the owner of the swimsuit

I saw this Osprey's nest yesterday at the Tigertail Wildlife Refuge in Marco Island. My first thought was how did they get the swimsuit and what happened to the wearer of the suit?

And was the fishing net involved in some way?

A couple of additional photos I find amusing;

Trying to blend into the crowd

This one reminds me of Gene Kelly in 'Singing in the Rain"

Nice series, Zig! What lens(es) did you use on these?

I love humorous shots like that. They will steal swimsuits hanging on a balcony to dry. Can you imagine how funny it looked to see an osprey flying over with that big fishing net hanging down? LOL

That s one thing for sure I could just hear him or her saying " some day I will catch more than my fair share oh Someday!" and in the mean time " I spy two bobbies!"

.....ok, I see the net & perhaps a second one at top right, some rope, a swimsuit AND is that a ladies BRA & panty hose up there? Someones entire laundry line was raided. I too showed the photo to Bonnie and we enjoyed seeing and speculating of the things in it.

I think it is a POTD entry if only for the whimsicality of it........
