Default A few pics from not so hot London

A few pics taken last week - first time since Dec that I'd used the E3 + 14-54Zd. A bitingly cold but sunny day ... lots of construction work going on and surprisingly lots of tourists. Felt a wee bit uncomfortable street shooting as its been so long since the last outing.

Cheers

Harj

I like the way you put a different perspective on the scene, not your regular touristy thing.
Architecture is constantly changing in London isn't it? Such a combination of old world and the modern.
Good to see HMS Belfast hasn't sunk at it's moorings yet!!! and the Thames workboat is and interesting study. The water is almost bronze there.
Then the B&W street scene makes for a great switch.
Nice day out.

Very interesting series. I especially like the work cranes in shot#2. What is is the big building that is going up there?

Harj, it's great to have you posting photos of London again. I really enjoyed these, and really like your city. Especially the parks.

Thanks - I was wondering about what ship that was - made an interesting read on the internet. And also thanks for explaining where the term bald eagle came from - I always wondered about that. Especially since the truly bald birds - the vultures - have a hygienic reason to be bald.
