Default Reflections

Not looking for any sympathy, just was surprised to get out this morning and find out the temperature was 51 balmy degrees. By contrast, it was 46 back home 1500 miles to the North.

I like the way you've handled the difficult light. Nice one

Very nice photo indeed. Weather note: We may reach the lower 50s today but I encountered snow flurries, some heavy, this morning on the way to work. The morning fog was actually on the ground and the temp was below freezing.

Hang on zig, this is the same front that recently dumped all that snow in the upper Midwest. It will back into the 70s tomorrow.

Hi All,

Thanks everyone. This was a bird I came upon this morning, quite by accident. There was a flock of White Ibis mingled in with White Egrets and some White Heron. There was such a number of white birds, that I really didn't notice this Reddish Heron.

All were quite busy searching for food and I was able to get quite close if I walked a few steps stopped a few minutes and then repeated the procedure all over again. The shot was my favorite of the day, although, there were a few others that I was very happy with:

As an example;

You've got yourself a good spot there. Good subjects and very nice reflection.

Nice shot zig, there is still 3 feet of snow in the fields by my brother near Ithaca NY : ) So 51 and balmy sounds pretty good.
