Default It's as easy as 1, 2, and 3

I headed back to Tigertail Wildlife Refuge this morning. Definitely my favorite place to go in the morning. a great place to sharpen up your skills at shooting all types of birds.

I noticed this one Heron there, who appeared to outfish all the other birds around him. He clearly had the system down because he rarely, if ever missed catching a fish. He made it look as easy as 1,2, and 3

Hi guys,

If you haven't guessed already, yes, I'm really having a blast. This is like being in a dream, as everywhere I turn there are all types of birds that I can work on improving specific skill sets. All done pretty much alone as there are very few photogs around. And, those that are here respect your space.

I did run into a fellow with an honest to goodness Sigmonster 300-800mm lens. It was enormous, and best of all, he was using it hand held. I didn't have the nerve to walk up to him and ask how he liked it. In the end, it didn't matter any as I would never be in a position to buy it- or for that matter, want one.

I do have to work on getting rid of some of the noise in PP. I just noticed that these are clearly noisier than my images on my computer. Not sure what's going on.

Zig

.....that's a lot of fun going on, for you & the heron, these would make a great side-by-side 3-in-a-frame set.

Ditto the above. You're on vacation. Don't lose sight of the fact that a great photo of a bird doesn't need to be absolutely technically perfect. It just needs to make us viewers grin and enjoy the photo.
