Well done!

Hope you post a few pics as I don't believe I've seen any posted here in some time, if at all.

You are right, I haven't posted anything for a while as I feel my photos are inferior compared to the excellent ones on here. However:

Taken at Crufts 2011 at the NEC in Birmingham last Saturday.

Both taken with the E420 with 50mm manual lens.

Lovable looking dogs!

Don't ever feel inferior posting shots with this crowd. While we kid around a lot with each other, everyone here has different styles and preferred subjects. And this is a great group who are interested in seeing each others work. Most of these guys have better equipment than me, but no one cares. We just enjoy seeing everyone's different perspective, subjects, and shooting styles. You posts are always enjoyed here. And we all share and learn from each other. Well, with the possible exception of Ted; you can't tell him anything. LOL!

Dunno about that - we were all surprised at your POTD wins.

Sam, I would never admit this in public but Steven gave you good advice. Different forums have different cultures, and this one has a culture of cooperation with some humor thrown in. If you ask for advice about a photo you'll get it but in a constructive way, but only if you ask (or if we get to know you pretty well). Folks here act differently than over in the Oly DSLR forum at DPR. If Ansel Adams were alive today and posted a photo there, a number if insecure and therefore arrogant people would enumerate all the reasons they feel it was a crappy photo.

Ted

PS: Don't believe what Steven said about me - I take advice from everyone here, except him.

I've seen it happen over there, Harj. And, not just on the Oly forums. It seems to be pretty wide-spread.
