Well Marcelo,

If you hadn't mentioned that this was your 1st attempt at birds in flight, I certainly would never had known that. These images are really quite sharp with excellent clarity.

As A.C. mentioned, your panning skills are really impressive.

Marcelo, If those are your first attempts you have a bright future in the BIF department : ) Having attempted shots at mallards I can attest to the difficulty, they are zoomers.

Thank you Zig, your commentary is very generous.

I bought a 50-200mm two weeks ago and I'm very exited to try it and emulate some of you best pictures.

I did a walk last weekend in Central Park with the 50-200 and 70-300, my first time using the 70-300 with tripod, very nice results... I'll post the pictures later.

They are really fast and it is incredible to see how they reach high speed in seconds.
