Default While I was shooting the swan

While shooting the swan in the swamp I noticed this guy flying overhead. Just a little to far to get great detail but a little overcropping covers everything : )

Not too bad, buddy. The third one kind of brings it home.

I moved a little so he knew I was alive. He must have thought he hit the lottery with this big blob of roadkill sitting in the swamp : )

Nice series of images of a bird with a face only a mother could love

Hey Eric

I really don;t know how you guys do it. The only way I can get a sharp pic a BIF is when its stuck in a cage !

Thats a pretty impressive wing span and I gotta agree with Zig on them being waaayy too ugly.

Hi Eric: nice shot of a turkey vulture. Ugly bird but good capture on a BIF.

Thanks guys. If they're close enough the turkey or black vultures are the easiest birds to get BIFs of any of them. They just float in the wind. Some guys are lucky and have eagles flying all around them, I get the bird with his picture next to the word Ugly in the dictionary.
