Default [pic] Rainbow Lorikeet pair

Braeside Park is a haven for nesting birds, particularly parrots. There is an abundance of dead trees with plenty of hollows for birds to nest in. In particular there were plenty of Rainbow Lorikeets & several Red-rumped Parrots nesting. The Rainbow Lorikeets were much more accommodating & allowed me to get close enough for some nice portrait shots. This particular pair were scoping out various nesting locations. I was quite surprised to see them even looking in fallen branches.

Not real, are they?
Nice detail throughout.

Beautiful birds. The colors from the E620 really do pop.

Beautiful birds. Love shots of lorikeets. They are one of my favorite birds to photograph. Good job.
