Default Manhattan Sky Line 2

I received some request of members of this forum to post the rest of my pictures I shoot a few weeks ago in Midtown Manhattan.

I used my E3 and E5 with the 8mm FE, 11-22mm, 14-54mm and 50-200mm + tripod and cable shutter release.

I always shoot in RAW for better results with PP, something that I notice is the JPGE's from the E5 have better IQ than the ones from RAW.

I use CS5 and the result of PP add some grain to the picture, I'll do a test this weekend to compare-explain the results and share with the forum.

Enjoy and have a great day.

Marcelo

Hey Marcelo

Thanks for posting part 2 ! First thoights that these are seriously nice, with the first and the last esp the last one being my favourite. Now looking at the shots, my first thought was roof top and if so how or shooting from an office window ?

Cheers

Harj,

Thank you for your feedback, all those pictures are shoot from the roof of a building that's why the sharpness.

My wife works on the 23rd floor of a midtown building in Manhattan, I tried to shoot some pictures from there but the reflections on the glass are a pain.

You will need a very dark room to avoid reflections and the color of the glass also is a problem to achieve right WB.

Have a great day.
