Default East Hampton-New York

Hi everybody,

I went to Montauk for a weekend with my wife, prices of the hotels are cheaper in this part of the year and I found a great package in a beautiful Hotel-Spa.

I used the E5 with the 8mm FE, 15-54mm and 50-200mm.

We arrived to the hotel and this guy was the greeter in our balcony, he is not shy at all... I think people use to feed them and he was waiting from me to do the same.

For this picture I used the 8mm FE and I did some exposure compensation.

The Montauk - Light House is just five minutes from the hotel and I forgot to bring back the settings of my camera and I overexposed the pictures

Back to the hotel some low light pictures from the balcony.

We met some nice guys of a rock band from New Jersey, they were performing at the hotel bar music from the 70's and 80's.
E5 + 14-54mm + FL-50

I hope you guys enjoy the tour.

Have a great day.

Marcelo

Hey Marcel

THanks for the tour.. the close up of the seagul is tack sharp and looks as if he was posing for the shot. The second lighthouse pic is picture perfect .. composed just right and a really nice mood to the shoot with that light. Really like the band shot.. always cool to see stuff like that.

Cheers

Dittos. Interesting series, also informative to see, as I have never been to the Hamptons. Enjoyed the shots.

You are welcome..!!

It is a great combo the 50-200 mm + the E5, I use to do a lot of sharpening with my E1-E300 and E3 files but with the E5 it is not necessary. I never use the sharpening tool on my E5 pictures.

The following is a 100% crop of that picture.

Impressive to see what the E5 can deliver.

Thank you for your feedback.
