Nice capture Gary. The red feet contrast nicely with the feathers.

Where is the sunlight?
Is it still cool there? Looks like the feathers are fluffed out because he is cold.

Thanks, Steve. You're spot on. It's a bit brisk and raining off/on. Cooler temps and rain/drizzle tomorrow as we go out onto the tarmac to view the military planes that are in town for the air show and fireworks. My "adopted son", Charlie, flies C-130s and will be taking us around. If the weather is nasty, the E-620 stays home and I'll take the HS-20.

That is a great opportunity; will look forward to seeing your shots from that.
