Default First Hummer of the year

Sitting on the front porch and two came up to the feeder we've only had out for a week or so. I can't believe they are here already, seems a little early. First shots of the year, need a little hummie practice but they are a lot of fun to watch.

Eric, I've got to hand it to you. I don't believe I've ever seen anyone posting a shot of a Hummingbird using the 70-300mm lens.

These are all really good shots. Very well done.

Oh, by the way, my next hummingbird photo will be the first as I've never been able to replicate what you've done .

Zig

Thanks Zig, As you well know having seen your great close up bird shots, sitting very still and a whole lot of patience is a large percentage of how successful you are with the small guys : )
