Default ButterFlies

I'm working of learning to use the new 50-200, so I went to the Strathcone Wilderness Centre (close the Edmonton, Alberta) and there was really nothing interesting (birds, deers, etc...) to shot at ... until I looked down.

I like the second one a lot. The first one is too busy - the butterfly gets lost. (Yes, I know you can't position a butterfly wherever you want. )

.....#2 is a nice photo and is one that I would crop square with photo-bottom immediately above the bottom yellow bloom.

Because the focus is photo-below the butterfly, a square crop would balance the two areas of focus and if you've the software, reducing exposure just a bit and/or enhancing the highlights some could spring the butterfly frontward of the image.

I absolutely love the 50-200 and know you will too.
