Default Bad hair day

I guess humans are not the only ones who have a bad hair day.

Ha! Static electricity...

This image has almost a 3-D look on my screen. Very, very nice exposure and the sharpness is perfect.

Outstanding photo. My hair has, of course, never looked like this. As BobB said, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Thanks guys. Just wish my bird shots were half as good and consistent as Zig and Greg's.

Anyway, I forgot to give the pertinent data: E-520 with the 70-300mm shot at 300mm, 1/1000 at ISO400 @f7.1; Vivid setting, no PP. I see so many great shots with the 50-200 that I envy those that have it, then when I balance out the cost/benefit, I realize that I can continue to make do with the 70-300 for now.

(I still have the E-30 on my wish list for my next camera purchase.)

Hi Steven,

Great capture and composition. I really like the lighting that falls on the Heron's beak and eyes. Lots of detail.

If this were my image, I think I'd try editing out the hairs and see how that looked. I think, this would be a wall hanger (for me)
