Default Bob inspired me

I liked Bobs butterfly shots so much I went out to the field to see what I could get. My attempt at flying ones and a dragonfly and bee. Zig is right, tough to get bifs of butterflies : )

Hi Eric,

In one day, you've surpassed my best efforts (which were awful).
Very well done.

Thinks for the inspiration acknowledgement, that makes me happy.

I'm reconing with Zig,yours are very nice images. I don't have success if butterflies aren't perched on something.

....this giant swallowtail (approx 4-5 inch wingspan) was pretty close to doing an airplane; I didn't do well with it flapping its wings so waited for a soft landing for these.

Lovely shots, all. The dragonfly and bee look they came straight out of National Geographic. Well done.

Lovely shots all of them. Here's my first attempt at shooting butterflies. Shot all of them with 70 - 300mm. These were taken at the Butterfly park in Malaysia.
