Default Happy 4th to all

Hope all of you have a great 4th of July and are spending it with your family or loved ones.

I'm looking forward to this evenings fireworks display.

Amid all the unpacked boxes, this brought a real smile to my face. Great photo!

Happy 4th to you and all. Of course, it doesn't mean as much in Canada and elswhere...

Ted

PS: Just looked at the weather forecast for Dallas - you guys there must be dying. Zig & the Canadians have the right idea at this time of year. Maybe Ken also, when it's not raining.

The weather is actually warm, well maybe not to a Texan or Floridian but up here it's warm and sunny.
Actually it defies the norm here were we watch the fireworks disappear into the clouds and all OOOh together as the clouds glow red. The 5th usually starts our summer.

I have a couple of sheets of ribs to go on the barbie, an old Liverpool recipe, and the makings for a pitcher of margaritas (another Liverpool recipe) for this afternoons celebration of Engerland ridding ourselves of our colonial tax burden and the ending of the civil war over it.....

Have a happy day with your families and friends you guys.

Excellent choice of photo for the day Zig

EDITED because: I intended to say that I like the photo Zig, I tried fireworks once then forgot about it, did not work out for me.

I'll get rid of the other comments while here, suffice it to say we were HOT!! again today @ 103 F..

And let me add my wishes also for a safe and Happy 4th to everyone. It is warm also here today, we will get into the low 90s, but then again it is summer!

P.S. to Zig: that is a great fireworks shot. I think it is better than any that I have taken.

Hmmm. I thought England was way into the red after what we did and spent to save it in WWII.

Couple of Photos to go along with Zig's theme for the day. I was setting up the barbie and noticed the wind catching the flag.

Had to back out to 70mm or fall off the deck..

Nice shots on the grab; glad you didn't fall. Looks like a nice breeze blowing.

Actually it's more in the red after what US bankers did to the world couple of years back.

I always thought that we, with help from the Rooskies out east, had it under control before you guys interupted. Would have been over in '44 but we had to wait for Ike...

On a more serious note. I thank those GI's a lot. More so after seeing Normandy last year.

This is my shirt for today. From an old WWII slogan. My wife found it for me last year.
