Default Beautiful. But...

...not too smart. This juvenile hawk thought it was a good strategy to sit atop the feeding station to hunt a snack. NOT! As soon as he left, the regulars were back.

Shopping at a supermarket is ingrained in our culture - it probably figured, why not try it.

Gave you the chance for some great close-ups, though.

Gary,

I must say that, aside from being a bit underexposed, these captures are some of your best work to date. The hawk is stunningly clear, very good resolution.

I took one of the images and did some color correction, shadow adjustments,
and clarity boost. The image is just beautiful.

Very good work indeed.
