Thank you Ted, that picture is my favorite and agree with you about your observation.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for your feedback... Shelter Island is a beautiful place, I never saw so many Ospreys is a small place like this.

I'm planning to visit again the place but this time will be exclusive to shoot the lighthouses and Ospreys.

Regards.

Hey Marcelo

A really fab selection pf pics.. the night shots look superbly done but my favorites are the pics of the chairs. The composition is just spot on and the two chairs together really does stand out.

Looks like a fab place to be out and about with or without a camera!

[QUOTE=jelpee;1250632]My wife's family is from Shelter Island and we visit there every Summer--beautiful spot. Your images looks so familiar...looks like you stayed at The Pridwin?? My Brother-in Law pilots the ferry between SI and Greenport (North Ferry Company). If you don't mind, let me add to your posting.

You are a lucky person, I would love to have some friend or relative there.

The island is a quiet and beautiful place to stay... but very expensive also.

The background in your picture is showing Greenport or SI..?

Thank you for your time.

Hello Marcello,

The background in my picture is Shelter Island. The picture was taken from the pier on the Greenport side of Long Island. Yep, it is an expensive place...costs, what $12 one way on the ferry!

Will be back next summer!

Nice picture of Bug Light as well.

Hi HarjTT,

Thank you for your comments, the chairs are my favorites too.

The island is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the weather... I hope I can go there again.

Have a great day.
