G'day Gary

Thanx for this great comparative posting ... bit like Kodak colour vs Agfa colour back in film-slide days

While the Fuji seems to have more DoF with the yellow flower, the colour of the stems puts my vote with the Oly ~ presuming the stems were that 'green' rather than 'olive'

Well done & thanks
Regards, Phil

Hey Gary: nice colors. Both shots are pretty. Interesting contrast between the two sensors and the in-camera processing.

I don't know which one is more accurate, but my initial impression in looking at the first one on my monitor was that the flowers had usual blue stems. Then the 2nd shot shows very green stems. My initial guess is that the type of lighting and the accuracy of the white balance could skew the results. Where does the real color fall on the two spectrum extremes?

Thanks, guys. The Fuji pretty much nailed the true colors. Reason being I had the Oly set to "Vivid". Otherwise, I'm fairly certain the Oly would have pegged 'em, too.

Great pix, Gary. So you got the broken SD card out of the Fuji?

Thanks very much, Ted. The card broke in the reader not the camera so, I'm in good shape.
