scbwr, thank you very much.. The herons at our lake, particularly near the ramps, are very quiet in the early morning before it gets people busy then they become wary and one needs to wait for the next morning. They are fun to watch & photograph.

The 70-300 is a nice lens alright, I hope you do get one soon.

Thanks Dan and Ted I just upgraded the cup to E-P3 size, from the quarter-kup to the $-kup.

BTW, I've not seen the hardcopy parks guide yet, the library branch in our neighborhood is closed for remodeling work. I still need donations though so holding the cup high.......
