Default Another boring day at home ...

... so, I decided to go to the Elk Island National Park in order to take some fall colors shots:

The Pipe Bridge (HDR, 5 shots) :

There is usually no maple trees with nice colors here in Alberta ... however, some army guy planted some of them near the old army base:

and finally, the Dark Trail Project :

... using the Pin Hole mode ... just for fun!

Hoping you like them ...

It's sortta mixed blessing isn't it? You have time to do the things you've been wanting to do, but you're not liking the reason for the time. At least you're making the most of it. I need to try HDR some day, perhaps this winter.

I like the 'pinhole' shot, the others are fun but a tad over saturated for my taste. That's just subjective of course..

....I like the pinhole too, I made one shot with the pinhole filtre my first outing with the E-P3 and it too was a trail shot. I intend trying HDR some day too but actually never often think of it so recon I'm not ready yet.

I like all three compositions. If I had to chose one, it would probably be #2. Well done.

Don't worry ... fall usually bring only the following sequence here in Alberta : Green, Yellow and .... Gone!

Another one from the same location:

Hi,

You're images are a reminder of the stunning Fall colors that we get here in the Northeast. Ours will be here in a couple of weeks. Fall is my 2nd favorite time to take photos with Spring being my favorite. It would be the other way around if it weren't for the fact that Fall signals the coming of Winter-a time, I don't much care for.

Thanks for sharing.

Zig
