Thanks, guys. Indeed, Eric, I'm finding out just how nice they are. These were planted last fall and I didn't hold out much hope of them returning. However, about 6 weeks ago (maybe earlier) they started coming up. They returned easily 3 times stronger than when I planted them. I put in a BUNCH more in the front garden - which is now fairly colorless - I was so pleased with they way they came in.

......I actually prefer fall colors to summer colors, these are really nice.

The Nandina I have does not have berries but the leaf colors can be beautiful. This year however, due to the intense heat over the summer, we won't see much color in the Nandina, but the fall flowering plants are beginning to show.
