Default Autumn In Kansas

Had a great time today just driving around admiring the fall trees here in eastern Kasas. The light was not the best but the trees were great!
The first photo was taken at a small lake (Lone Star Lake)that was constructed by the WPA in the 1930s. The second is an area near Lone Star Lake. The third was a group of maple leaves that had residual raindrops from an early morning shower. The fourth is not really about fall color--I took this yesterday at the Kansas Capitol Building in Topeka. It is undergoing a major facelift. The crane being used is over 300 feet tall and is the tallest one of its type in the United States. The pollen covered bee was enjoying one of the remaining sunflowers on the capitol grounds.
