Default End result 14 heavy inches

Well, I had to go out and chainsaw my way to the main road this morning, many trees and branches down. We got 14 inches of heavy snow. The entire village has no electric as well as thousands of others around the state. We have electric but only because God and I are buddies on a first name basis : )

A few pics, took a ton this morning

The morning after.
Always makes for nice photograpy and you have some good ones there.
I'm sure we'll get our share soon

Me, I've lived with the stuff here and as a ski instructor in Park City and now I hate it! I've just spent the morning finalizing my plans for this winters Mexico trip, leaving in less than 2 weeks...

Wow, what a snowfall for October. It made for impressive photos, but the storm appears to be a major problem for a lot of folks. Glad you still have electricity.

Good morning Eric,

I hope this day brings lots of sun and warmer temps to melt some of that. Although, there is a beauty to freshly fallen snow that I've always loved to photograph. Particularly like the last one.

Here on the Cape the chainsaws were working all day long. While we didn't get any snow, the winds were fierce and blew a lot of trees down.

This has been quite the year for weather.

Nice shots Eric... we got a dusting compared to what I heard was dumped further south along the coast line.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm hoping this will all melt off but you never know this time of year.

I particularly like the mood of the last one, Eric. Just looking at it made me reach for a winter coat.
