Totally awesome--The second one is perfect. How are you getting the shot? Is the camera next to you on a tripod with a remote trigger?

Thanks for the responses guys.

Spendangie, no fancy stuff here, I hold out my left hand with the seed and take the shot with the right hand when they land. I've come close to getting nuthatch and titmouse but they are just a bit to afraid.

Hah, the obvious right way to do it is set the camera on a tripod with the remote trigger. Since I don't have the remote I guess I could stick my left hand out and hold the camera behind my head with my right hand to get the entire shot : )

A photo shot by someone else, of you doing that would make the POTD, I think.
