Default My best Autumn shot

This was taken this Fall just after supper. I was using my E-620 with the 14-42mm lens.

Very nice. the water is so still it looks almost like a mirror. Nice composition, it looks like you would actually be standing in the water to get that angle.

I wasn't standing in the water as there was a small island that stuck out in the river. However, this shot (different time/location) was taken standing in the water. I wonder if it explains the crappy composition?

Beautiful, I do love the country. I could live right there on the shore, that is as long as there is a grocery store and gas station within 5 miles : )

Dan, I really like this image but it's calling me, calling me, for some digital darkroom work. (It's the kind of photo I most enjoy shooting and processing.) Is is OK if I tweak it and post the results? (It's OK for you to to say No.)

Sure, knock yourself out! I would like to note, it was taken at sunset, with the sun setting behind me. The orange-ish glow is all natural baby!

Here's my take on it - what do you think?
