I don't have it anymore, but they were shot with the E-5/300 f2.8 with EC-14 and EC-20 teleconverters. It was one sweet setup for little birds.

Thanks for the comments.

....this year my main project was to photograph 'nature' found in our city parks, it was challenging due to the heat & drought but if one looks and in the right light there is much beauty to be seen and photographed. These are amongst my favorite images of year 2011, all from my 'city parks' project.

Hi Bob

Cover shot is well deserved. Its perfect!!!

BUT

I love the Katydid sneeking up from the green background up to that brilliant red. There is no room for titles, so it won't work for a cover, but I'd have it on a wall!!!

Great series, one and all!!!

Thanks for the remarks Greg..... and I do have a print of the grasshopper. It was a fun find one early morning on a day that eventually got to be around 110 F.

Your birds selection and the images of Zeshane and SIMON40 are indications of another great review of the year past. I'm just happy to have some files to share and am anxious to see how the thread fills out.

Gary, aside of the fun we had about it, that blousing elastic is a really nice photograph.
