Default Hey, I'm restin' here..!

Appologies to Dustin Hoffman.

Went to put something outside on the deck and saw this young fella taking a break from munching chicken scratch at Sharon's animal deli. He finally got tired of me and went to see if any fresh food was out.

"You lookin' at me..???"

E500, 70-300, ISO400, F4 @ under 100 approx 100mm.

Pushed a bit for light with the old E500.

Ah the joys of living among big leaf maple trees..

I'm with Gilles. I like that fourth one a lot. You did well, Ken. The 70-300mm is a notorious light hog but one helluva lens.

Thanks guys. I opened the compensator to +1, it was so dark this afternoon. So I was actually shooting at 45-60, and it shows.

I don't think it's so bad. Lord knows I've done a WHOLE lot worse when I had my 70-300mm.

I like #4 a lot! Bambi hasn't yet learned to be afraid of humans.
