Default First shot of 2012

I went out this afternoon for some bird shots.
Did not see a single bird close enough.
This guy said " Hey over hear, forget the birds "

Thanks for looking

Really nice, Fred, and I like the lighting. My hat is off to him - he survived hunting season.

Really nice shot Fred. Excellent pose. Looks like he had a rough season as he lost most of one of his antlers.

Yeah, I think he's saying, who cares if it's an ugly fight as long as I walk away from it.

This was taken too close to the City for Hunting. Legally anyway
Looks like he got into a good one during the rut to snap that one off like that.
But he survived a fight and the last Deer standing WINS !

Thanks for the comments

Great catch Fred. He'll be ready to fight another year. The horns will fall off in a few weeks or less and he'll start growing a bigger stronger set to get revenge with : )
