Yeah .. looks as if its officially going to be called OM-D.

Regards that new sensor from Canon, DPR posted ISO sample pics and I've got to say was impressed with the ISO3200 pic - haven;t checked any of the others but ISO3200 looked good.

Now if Oly managed to do a deal with Canon as a sensor supplier that could well be interesting!

The latest info is that the new M4/3 sensor is 16MP.

Isn't it interesting also, that there are current reports that Samsung is interested in an alliance with Oly. Now think back to last summer, when there were rumors that Samsung was offering a 16MP senor to Oly. Be interesting to see what the actual facts are when it comes out next month.

Not sure how much of a step forward a Samsung senor would be - from all accounts their sensors were always second best compared to Sony's/ Canon. I think the really interesting bit there was Samsung offering Oly a Square sensor. It could well be that the OM-D gets Pana's latest GH2/GH3 sensor but I'd like to see what Oly could do with that new Canon sensor. What surprised me is that its basically FT just 0.5mm and 0.7mm bigger and whats the likely hood that all FT lenses can easily cover that.

$1,100 USA per one web site. Sounds like it will be a step above the Pen EP-3
