Latest per 4/3 rumors.com:

Soon, at 2 am London time Olympus will officially announce the E-M5. The price will be the following:

Olympus OM-D E-M5 body only: $1000 or 1.100 Euro
Olympus OM-D E-M5 with 14-42mm lens: $1100 (don’t know the price in Euro yet)
Olympus OM-D E-M5 with 12-50mm lens: $1300 or 1300 Euro

i just got an email from Olympus to pre-order for $999 direct from Olympus. And there are several E-M5 videos on You-tube. Impressive.

LOL. that is only $899 more than I have in my discretionary camera budget for this year.

Yeah, the nice thing about digital is if you already have a computer, once you buy the gear you don't have much of an operating cost. Unlike golf, a point I make with Linda regularly and sometimes successfully.
