My guess from the filename is that the smoke from the fireworks got a bit out of control But still a cool shot.

Bingo. It was from a Disney Fireworks shoot that I did on one of my park visits at Christmas time. I had two such shots that just struck me as replicating an astronomy scene. That the the reason for the question mark on the title. I knew that it would not take long for this crowd to figure it out.

I've always enjoyed fireworks shots and the E-3 is the easiest camera that I have ever used to capture them.

I didn't know you like astro-photography.

I was looking the picture in my kindle fire and my initial thought was "Steven bought a telescope and an adapter for his camera"..!!!
