Default Long Island Seals

Today I went with a group of photographers to shoot the seals in the South Shore of the island, close to Jone Beach Park.

A very cold and windy day but we were lucky to shoot this beautiful animals, I used the E5 + 50-200mm + EC-14

I'm living for 10 years in NY and I didn't know we have seals here..!!!

Next week I will be going to Fire Island looking for the snow owl, they come to this part of the Island for winter and I hope I can catch some nice pictures.

Have a great week everyone.

Marcelo

Hi Marcelo,

Well done. My favorite capture is actually that of the Canada Goose.

Good luck on your Snowy Owl hunt.

So the boy got out of the city..?

All good photos Marcelo. interesting critters the seals, aren't they? They like to follow the boat when we're out sailing.

Read a newspaper story Sunday on the unpresidented amount of Snowy Owls that have come south this year. They've been spotted all over...except where I've been looking. Funny dat!

Hope you have better luck.

Nice pictures Marcello, not that simple to shoot the seals I suppose.
My favorite shot is the one with the gooses.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi Ken,

Actually I live in Long Island but I take the train every day to the city because my work. My house is only 20 minutes from this location.

I'm not a city person, it is OK to work but I don't think I can live with all the noise and crowds of the Big Apple.

Some photographers spotted the owl last week there, wish me luck.

Hi Lordje,

I little tricky to shoot from the boat but the E5 is a great camera.
