E-3, 50-200m at full 200mm, f10 ISO 800, 1/250sec. No PP

Wow, spectacular color-you just can't get better green, red and blues than this. I especially like the detail in the bird's eye--The red ring, followed by the gray one and then that little white star in the black iris. Altogether lovely.

Hi Angie: give all the credit to Olympus for those colors. That shot is straight OOC jpeg, with no PP. I love Olympus colors, and I love shooting with the E-3 and 50-200mm lens.

Fantastic Steven. Wonderful bird and you've really caught the colours.

Tomorrow I will outdo you. If it's not raining and the poor brown sparrow isn't coughing so badly that I can't catch the action with the low dreary light.

Nah! Took my share of the sun in December, I'm not due for more until next November.
Unless my retirement plan (The Washington State Lottery) pans out.
