Thank you all for the support, kind words and for making me feel at home.

I will not go far and will be lurking from time to time.... Old habits are hard to break. Especially those that are so pleasing.

best regards,

Zig

Hey Zig

Kind of shocked to see that you've sold off all of your FT gear so quickly .. but then again these things happen and when you've got two systems its always going to be hard keeping them. Now we'll be watching out for your work on the Nikon forum and hope you carry on lurking on the forum... Having yourself, both Greg's, Ted, Steve, Ken, Marcelo and the rest of the guys and gals have made this possibly the best Oly forum out there...

Bye the way .. a fab pic.. esp for the last one!

Cheers

Harj

You beat me to it Zig! I still have an E-3, 50-200, and the two macro Zuikos left.

I'm going to miss YOUR E-30/12-60. You have posted many wonderful landscapes with that combo. I wish you continued success with the next chapter too.

When i'm on steve's i just look at new posts. i don't care what forum they're in. if i have something to add, i add. plenty of the knowledge we've gained is applicable cross-manufacturers.

No more puny little "girlyman" lenses for me. Now that I've upgraded, this is my new rig:

I'm looking for a driver when I go out on safari...anyone interested?

ROTFLOL!!!

Where did you get that photo - it must be a wildlife photographer's dream. (Although to me it seems like what a Pen mounted on a Bigma would look like.)

NO WAY!!!

The last time you said "Hold on to my beer and I'll show you how real photographers take pictures!". The next thing I remember is waking up in a hospital bed with you waving a print in front of my face. "Got it!!!" you said. I thought it looked like the rear end of an elephant, but it turned out to be a mouse butt.

How was I to know that lens would do 1:1 macro at 35 feet???
