Default Image Stabilization - EPL1 - Help Needed

Received an EPL1 yesterday from Costco. Was a good deal!

However, on powering up the camera, I noticed that the IS1 indicator on the viewfinder is orange and blinking. According to the manual, this is a malfunction in the camera and the camera needs to be brought in for servicing.

Is this the case? Or is this a case of user error?

Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to ask this in the Micro 4/3s forum, Steve. There's a WHOLE bunch more owners of this camera over there.
