Really nice, Gary. They are really active when drilling and hard to shoot.

Nice shots Gary, I like the way you use the natural surroundings to draw them to for your photos.
We get lots of the woodpecker family here as well. Downy, Hairy. Lewis, Flickas. Then the other day a couple of pileated came for a while, When they peck it's like they use an axe, wood flies everywhere. Haven't managed a decent shot of one....yet!

Very nice pictures Gary, I do like nr 2 the most.
But I'm thinking now, after this woodpecker has done you have a tree less and those aren't growing that fast
