Had to check, the Oyster Catcher is West Coast only. the coastal strip between the Aleutians islands down to mid Baja.
Wow, someone prefers cold wet kelp Florida.

We have our herds of Canadian honkers here as well Gary and just now we have flocks of Trumperter Swans all over. They remind me of B 52's in flight.

All Great shots.
This morning I saw my first herd of honkers flying North.
I am hopeing this is a good sign of a soon to come Spring.
Just remember don't look up .

Thanks Marcelo and Fred, I just like the trips out.

The snow geese and honkers going north is a harbinger of warmer weather...
We have snow and winds up to 70 mph in the forcast tonight.
