Thanks for all the nice comments guys. Glad you like the shots; means a lot coming from the shooting talent I see on the forum.

Thanks Fred. Its actually hard to pick a favorite. Where I live there are so many varieties of birds that I like to shoot. I have hundreds of photos of all kinds of Herons, including the Great Blue, little Blue, Tri-colored, and Yellow-crowned, night herons. But I also have hundreds of pelican shots, a funny looking bird that makes a great subject, and likewise flamingos, lorikeets, parrots, and egrets.

(I slipped up and named this post by a common nickname of crested heron, but the proper name for the bird is Yellow-crowned Night Heron.)
