A friend bought himself a new camera and wanted to go down to the park to try some shots. So I grabbed mine and went on down for sunset time.

1/ Tides up along the cliff
2/ Lots of driftwood lately
3/ Oregon Grape buds
4/ So, wadda ya got to eat?

Really nice shots Ken. I like them all, having a hard time picking a favorite. Well done.

Excellent, Ken! But from the title you chose for this thread I thought we were going to see a town.

Thanks guys, always good to get your feedback. I quite like #5 as well. I put it up for the latest screen saver (replacing Ted's Spider Rock )
I went though a full spectrum of shots, from wide along the beach, full 600 close up on the Oregon grape and full 600 on the mountains.

It's not spring yet Fred. A sunny but bloody cold day, frosty mornings.

I mostly shoot 'A' setting, on late evening sunsets, I set the white ballance to "cloudy" and -7 on the light ballance thingy? Gives a nice warm redish glow to the pic. It robs some light but if you can keep steady it's not bad.

Note to self: It's not that hard to put the tripod in the car. Even if it weighs like 500 pound of scaffolding. It's steady!

No town on Camano Ted, but when I have to give an address the 'city' line is Camano Island..
