Default My secret for close up bird shots.

I've had several comments in the past about how close some of my birds shots seem to be. I've decided to share some of my techniques with you guys. You too can get close to the birds. I got some more close up shots Saturday evening, and here is some background on how to do it.

1. Live or vacation in Florida.
2. This Saturday afternoon went over to visit some friends at their timeshare near Disney World.
3. Go down to sit by the pool area near sundown with a good paper book and your camera.

4. Don't even get up, the birds will come to you looking for a hand-out.

5. The hard part is getting the bird shots without getting yourself in the photo. the blue in the lower left corner is from my Bermuda shorts.

6. Don't worry, when they don't get any food, they will go away. But other birds keep dropping by.

You might have even more luck if you got wet in the pool and then rolled in bird seed.

LOL! And that's a photo I want to see! Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "duck bites".
