Default The Menagerie

Sometimes it seems that way. I saw the wood ducks coming in so went down to the basement to peek through the window at them. 3 males and 3 female, they had the "Over here baby" look in their eyes and didn't notice me.

Then these other guys showed up and that was fine until we all saw the cat under the hedge and the deer saw me.

Still got to work on those wood duck shots. Now if they liked the camera as much as the deer.

Nice ones Ken
I like the 2 nd duck shot .
The 2 Deer shots are also Great
Now thats a closeup
It seems the Deer in your Back yard and in the Calgary Parks
are not at all Camera shy.

Yeh, couldn't get a decent lock on the ducks and oversharpend it. The deer, they live here, sleep during the day around the back. There's 5 out there right now and not shy at all.

Just got this guy in the pond. He was just slowly moving out into the open, him and the missus, when the pond pump fired up......Oooops, gone.

Good shots Ken, especailly the last one of the duck in the pond. That is an excellent capture of a wood duck.
