Thanks Marcelo and you too Bob. They're keeping us amused at the moment.

Hmmm, perhaps I'll try that Ted. I'll let you know, haven't had any luck in there yet.
AND HERE WE GO AGAIN....trying to get the photo to upload. I think that's why I gave up last time. Timed me out ....AGAIN..

Thanks Lordje, one our most colourful ducks here.

Yes Steven, I tried a couple of hours later and it went up, no bother. Yeah!
No comment though. Boo!

My internet connection is a Verizon module and we're right on the edge of their reception area. So every time the satalite throws a wobble we lose out. That's the tech reason. No cable here either.

We were thinking that on that island all you had was two cups and some string.

And apparently Gary hasn't seen my response in your Dancing in a Sunbeam thread. I'm kinda proud of that one.

That's not actually a joke, at times they would be "Better" than the Verizon module. Especially where one is in the middle of real estate research and you get dumped..

Good one Ted..!!!

It really is amazing how dependent we are on internet connectivity. Looking back on the days when the Sony Walkman led people to predict we were creating a society of isolation, it didn't turn out like that. It's just that our contacts are less face-to-face. And when the internet connectivity is down, we're really disabled, and folks in rural areas without good connectivity are at a real disadvantage especially if they can't afford a satellite connection..
