Yes, well done. That is an interesting color combination with the bird and the flower blossoms. They complement each other

Thanks, guys. When I saw him land there, I had the image already in my mind. The camera was ready, so all I had to do was wait for "the moment".

I think this is one of the loveliest pictures of a cardinal that I have ever seen. the background is just perfect and the bird just jumps out of the composition.

Angie said what I was thinking.

He has a name - Louis? That makes sense - as far as I can tell cardinals don't range very far. He and his mate probably live somewhere around or near your house.

Thanks, Ted. I just picked it because this city is sports nuts. The University of Louisville teams are the Cardinals. I don't follow sports but the name fit... sorta.
