Default Glacier National Park - Mountain Goats

Found some goats today on a little hiking adventure....

OLY E-30 50-200 EC-14 or EC-20 - click for full sized.

Not too much crop on these....

Needless to say it was wonderful being this close to these magnificent animals....

Comments and critique are always welcomed and encouraged.

Enjoy,

Jim

Nice series, well done, love that last pose.

What strong legs and ankles(or goat equivalent) they must have.

Very nice, Jim. It's difficult to get shots that aren't harsh, in the mid-day sun out west.

Very nice pictures Jim.
It is the first time I see this model of goats.

Thanks everyone - been near to this spot 6 times and no goats, it was a treat to actually find them... we were less than 50 yards away across a steep ravine and they knew we could not get to them, so they just hung out and so did we....harsh morning light was the only real problem, very clear and bright day....

Thanks again for the kind words.

Jim

And thanks to you for posting your photos Jim. Your shots are always excellent, and you have myself and the others all looking forward to more shots when you get up to Alaska this summer.
